I end up teaching a lot of beginners how to use various AI products, whether that's Letta or whatever AI service someone's company provides.

The number one issue I see is people asking me what to do. Don't ask me! You have the smartest entity in history in front of you, tell it what you want to accomplish.

Agents these days are extremely intelligent across most model families. The issue is no longer whether they are capable of accomplishing a task. The issue is whether the task is well specified, and whether the agent has enough understanding of your overall goals to be able to produce the outcome you need.

This leads to the golden rule of AI: just ask the agent. If you think something can be done, describe it to the agent and ask how it can be done. Ask questions to help the both of you understand the problem.

Chances are good that it will be able to do the thing you want. Just ask the agent.
